The Biomarker Assessments Experience
The Medical Team is trained to uphold strict safety protocols and help minimize any discomfort. If it's your first time doing a medical service with Restore, please arrive early to your appointment to fill out a simple medical waiver.
Your Biomarker Assessment requires a simple blood draw that will take a few minutes with one of the nurses. Once the blood draw is done, your blood sample is sent to a lab to evaluate genetic makeup or insufficiencies.
Your results may take up to 10 business days to complete and will serve as the basis for developing a personalized treatment plan. After your results are available, they will be uploaded and shared through a portal invite, since we are unable to email your results directly due to HIPAA.
Once you have your results, we encourage you to take advantage of a free 30-minute consultation with a Cell Science Nutritionist. These Nutritionists are experts on these tests and can provide guidance when reviewing your results. Additionally, your Restore Wellness experts can help guide you through more options to address genetic markers or nutrient deficiencies and optimize your overall health and well-being with science-backed therapies.
How Does Biomarker Assessments Work?
Biomarker Assessments evaluate your blood for specific insufficiencies and/or genetic markers that could indicate a fault in your body’s process to utilize nourishment. Knowing this data helps create customized plans and monitor progress.

FAQ
What is a Biomarker (Biomarkers)?
The term biomarker or biological marker refers to something that can be measured in the body to show whether a person has a disease or condition or whether a treatment is working. It can be a substance or characteristic that is objectively observed and evaluated to indicate normal or abnormal biological processes.
What are the signs I need a Biomarker Assessment?
We offer a Micronutrient & Antioxidant Assessment and MethylDetox Assessment. If you’re suffering from a micronutrient insufficiency, you may experience fatigue, migraines, weight fluctuations, skin issues or memory loss. Individuals with hypertension, depression, dementia, chronic fatigue syndrome, diabetes or kidney issues may benefit from a MethylDetox profile. Talk to a nurse for guidance on which Biomarker Assessment is right for you.
What will I learn from my Biomarker Assessments?
Biomarker Assessments provide you with specific insights into insufficiencies, chemical reactions or genetic markers so you can make informed decisions about your health. The Micronutrient & Antioxidant Assessment provides a clear picture of your cellular health by analyzing your antioxidant, amino acid and micronutrient levels. It also provides a Redox Score, which shows how well your body fights oxidative stress compared to the general population. You’ll then know which antioxidants you need more of to help boost your body’s defense system.
The MethylDetox Assessment evaluates your DNA and shows if you have mutations that may be affecting the way your body under- or overcompensates in essential bodily functions. With the help of the Cell Science Nutritionist, you’ll also learn which foods and supplements may benefit your cells. Regardless of the assessment you take, a Restore Wellness expert will provide guidance on how you can optimize your health, including additional science-backed therapies that may be right for you.
